Honoré δ'O

This was truly one of the most fun and rewarding projects I have worked on.

I was brought on board by Koen Bruyneel (one of the best art book designers in Belgium) which I had collaborated with before on other books,
to help with this massive project for the contempory artist Honoré δ'O.

The book needed to be finalised in 3 months so that it could be presented at the 51st Venice Biennial together with the artist's installation.

My task consisted of retouching all the raw photos, optimising for high print quality,
and making sure that the central theme in the book which was the color blue would be consistent in all the photos.

A little fun fact, the mandarin part of the book was layouted in Adobe Illustrator as QuarkXPress (in 2005) was unable to render asian (Hanzi) characters and crashed a lot.
